Jessica May, DACM, MS, L.Ac.

"My passion lies in finding holistic ways to enhance my patients' quality of life . Allowing you to enjoy all the moments that make life worth living"

Dr. Jessica May completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. While completing her graduate degree she spent many years as a medical massage therapist treating mostly chronic pain conditions and enhancing her knowledge in the functionality of the neuromuscular system and holding patterns. Previous to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine at Everglades University.

She has a diverse background in the medical field including 10 years of experience in various specialty offices working alongside physicians. Becoming a doctor was a childhood dream that is now a reality. Holistic medicine became a thriving passion early on in Dr. May’s journey because of her fascination with the human body and deep appreciation for nature. Facilitating an experience for each patient to align with their desired state of wellness is her mission. She believes physical activity and taking care of the body, mind, and spirit are at the forefront of health and wellness, and will always be addressed and assessed during your visit. Although Dr. May has experience in working with all types of conditions, she has extensive training in treating orthopedic disorders and chronic pain.

The body has an innate ability to heal itself. Chinese Medicine uses herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, lifestyle modifications, acupuncture, and a wide array of adjunctive therapies to do just that. Dr. May believes that everyone deserves to be well.

In her free time, Dr. May enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors—hiking, camping, exploring new terrain, enjoying live music and adventuring with her dogs.
